Margaret LeeMargaret Ann Lee, 78, of Hartford, South Dakota, died March 31, 2017. Margaret was born on July 19, 1938, in Crewe, England, to Albert and Winifred Evans. She graduated from high school in 1951 at the age of 15. Margaret worked as a secretary at the British Railroads from 1953-1958. Margaret married Richard Neal, who was in the Air Force stationed in England on March 8th, 1958. While they were in the Air Force, they lived in various countries and states to include Spain, England, Texas, South Carolina, Florida and West Virginia. Margaret and Richard had their only child, Marty Neal, on February 26th, 1959. They retired in Maryland where Margaret worked as a secretary at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. Richard passed away in 1986 and was buried in Arlington Cemetery. Margaret later married Dr. Lawrence Lee and they were happily married until his passing in 2003. Margaret moved to Hartford, South Dakota to be closer to family. She was a member of the Hartford Red Hats Association and the American Legion Auxiliary. Margaret enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and computer games. She is most remembered for her generosity, sense of humor, intelligence and spending time with family. Grateful for having shared her life are her son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Lynette Neal of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and her grandchildren; Adam (Nicole), Michael and Zachary and great grandchildren; Alexandria, Mychaela, Arianna and Addison.Private services will be held at a later date.
