Margaret Rayne LynchHavertown, PA-Margaret Ann Rayne Lynch, age 90, of Havertown, PA passed away on March 16, 2017. She was born on May 25, 1926 in Bishopville, MD and was the daughter of the late Paul Collins Rayne and Margaret Johnson (Powell) Rayne. Margaret (Peggy) grew up in Bishopville MD which she always considered her home. When she married she moved to Havertown, PA where she lived until her death. She worked as a secretary at The Westminster Press/Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, PA until her retirement. Peggy loved reading, playing bingo with the girls, doing crossword puzzles and playing Chinese checkers. But most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was an incredible woman who raised three children all by herself. She was the loving mother of Janice Goldschmidt (Gerard), the late Paula Ann Lynch, and the late James Asher Lynch, III, Esq.; devoted grandmother of Megan Criscuolo, Michelle, Mary and Matthew Goldschmidt; adoring great-grandmother of Lillian and Matthew Goldschmidt, Jr., and Kaden Sponheimer; dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Eleanor and Robert Quillen of Bishopville, MD; also survived by several nieces and nephews.There will be a celebration of Peggy's life at her residence in Havertown, PA on April 2nd at Noon.
