Margaret McCants-Jones, 76, of Paterson, NJ passed peacefully Saturday, June 27, 2020.

She was born to the late George and Charsley McCants-Jones on November 10, 1944 in Montgomery, Alabama.  She married the late William Jones in 1965, and they lived together in Montgomery, Alabama before relocating to Paterson, NJ in 1966.

Maragaret retired as a social worker for DYFS and was an longstanding member/officer (Deaconess) of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved the lord, loved her family and took pride in her culinary skills.

Margaret is survived by five children: Lawrence (Ashley), of New York City; Jonathan (Sharon) of Philadelphia; and Leonard (Constance), Clarence (April) and Matthew (Stephanie), of Paterson. She also is survived by sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
