Margaret was a member of the St. Joseph American Legion Post 328 Auxillary, the Y2K Lions, and St. Joseph's Catholic Church.Margaret spent her childhood working on the family dairy farm. She loved sharing memories of milking cows and delivering milk. She was no stranger to hard work, finally retiring at the young age of 75. Margaret held many jobs throughout her lifetime. Some of her favorite jobs were working at the St. John's Abbey Vestment Shop making vestments for the priests, the St. John's University Bookstore, and the St. Scholastica Nursing Home for retired nuns. The nuns were often surprised that she was older than them and still working. When she wasn't tending to the numerous needs of her seven children, Margaret was always willing to use her gifts to bless others. Whether it was sharing one of her ten loaves of weekly baked bread to someone who happened to stop by, putting in a buttonhole or hemming a pair of pants for someone who needed it, or giving a bucket of her delicious caramel corn at Christmas time; Margaret loved giving of herself. It brought her great joy to put a smile on someone's face.Margaret is survived by her children; Tom Reber (Kay Slack) of Palmer, AK, Jan (Bill) Hanson, of Duluth, Kay (Duane) Bennett, of Monroe, WI, Donna (Perry) Stoppelman, of Monticello, grandsons; Kyle (Chelsea) Hanson, David (Brooklynn) Hanson and Jared Stoppelman, great granddaughter; Harlow Hanson, siblings; Polly Hoover, of St. Cloud, twin sister, Mary Johannes, of St. Joseph, Richard (Helen) Kuebelbeck, of St. Joseph, Carol (Ernie) Opatz, of St. Wendel, Jenny Faughn, of St. Cloud, Jim (Carol) Kuebelbeck, of St. Joseph, Kenneth Kuebelbeck, of Waite Park and Jay Kuebelbeck, of St. Cloud.Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roman in 1987; sons, Dale (1975), Gary (1976) and Kevin (1980); grandson, Christopher Hanson (1983); and siblings, John Kuebelbeck, Allen Kuebelbeck and Ethel Meagher.A special thank you to Marge's hospice nurse, Lou of North Memorial Hospice, and the staff of The Wellstead of Rogers, especially, Crystal and Vicki.Memorials are preferred to North Memorial Hospice.
