Margaret M. Romanak1923 - 2013Margaret M. Romanak, 90, of Salem died on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Grande Prairie Health and Rehab Center.She was born on April 29, 1923 and raised in Waukesha, Wis.On April 22, 1958 in Waukegan, Ill., she was united in marriage to Joseph Romanak.She was employed as a time keeper with Bucyrus Erie for ten years.Margaret was a member of the United States Humane Society and the ASPCA. She loved all types of animals and enjoyed attending horse races with her husband, Joseph. She liked to watch old movies; especially comedies, and solving crossword puzzles.She will be remembered by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Romanak; her three sons, Dr. Joseph (Kathleen) Romanak, Richard Schulz and Arthur (Linda) Schulz; her two daughters, Mary (Arthur) Schmidt and Christine (Kevin) Wierchowski; her many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her feline companion, Mitzi.In accordance with Margarets wishes, private funeral services will be held at a later date.
