Margarita Cevallos , 79, of Reno, Nevada, passed on August 05, 2021. Margarita was born on May 18, 1942 in Uruapan Michoacán, Mexico to parents Soledad Pulido Lícea and Leopoldo Jimenez Avila. She grew up and spent most of her youth in Mexico, in which she studied and became a nurse. She later moved to the US in search of some of her family members. On her search, she met Federico Cevallos who later became the last love of her life, and together they had their baby boy Herb Cevallos.Margarita had other children, whom all remained in Mexico which she always kept in touch with. She had a strong passion for music, during her time in South San Francisco she sang in a band accompanied by her husband Federico. They moved around starting in the early 80's, from Reno, NV to Anchorge, AK and then to Los Angeles, CA. They lived the next 5 years in Los Angeles, where she the became widow to Federico. Margarita and Herb moved back to Reno, NV in the early 90's and began their new lives. Margarita then became a grandmother to many grandchildren, 7 of which she helped raise until her passing. She loved and adored her grandchildren Sabrina ,Mercedes, Herb Jr, Samoy, Sakai, Keisan , & Ky'ree. She shared her passion in music with them, by always singing and dancing. She loved to cook for her grandchildren, especially during the holidays. She embraced their Mexican culture by teaching them the tradtions she grew up doing with her family. As they grew older her love and support only grew stronger, as cheered each and every one of her grandchildren on in their life endeavors. She also was a great grandmother to her babies Kamyhl, Ayvah & Kam'ryn who she also spent much time caring after. Margarita loved nothing more than her family and to see her family grow. Margarita was full of life and always shared such a radiant smile, and a contagious laugh. She cared for many, and many cared for her as she made a huge impact on so many lives. Margarita will be remembered as the beautiful, loving, joyful woman she was. Her memeries will forever be remembered and cherished. In loving memory of Margarita Jimenez Cevallos.
