MARGIE LYNN MEIER, 76 FREEPORT - Margie Lynn Meier, 76 yrs. old, of Freeport passed away on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015 at UW Hospital in Madison. She was born on Aug. 9, 1938 in Freeport, a daughter of Harry Brick and Mildred (Clark) Meiers. Margie was a Graduate of the LPN Program at Highland Community College. On Nov. 24, 1956 she married Jesse A. Meier at Davis. She was an LPN and child care provider for 25 yrs. and loved every minute of it. Margie was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband, Jesse Meier, 2 sons, Aaron and Alan Meier, 2 brothers, Terry Brick and Roger Meiers, 2 sisters, Ruth Ann Skutt and Cindy Marcum, and a son-in-law, Jeff Keister. Preceding her in death by her parents, a son, Scott Meier, a daughter, Shannon Meier Keister, and her brothers, Edward Brick and Donnie Meiers. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Richard "Ros" Schultz and Dr. Willis Schwichtenberg, Associate Pastor, officiating. The interment service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Davis Cemetery in Davis. The visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wed. at the Schwarz Park Blvd. Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd. and after 10 a.m. on Thursday at the church until the time of service. A memorial has been established in her name.
