Celebrating the Life of Margie Rose

Margie Rose Richardson of Lakota, Iowa passed away on September, 21st 2019 surrounded by family. Margie was born June 1st 1926 at Maple Hill, Iowa, the daughter of Herb and Margie Patterson. She graduated from Buffalo Center High School in 1945. On July 13th of 1947, Margie married the love of her life, Ronald Richardson. They lived in Lakota, Iowa where Ronald had his own Body Shop business and Margie was Secretary to the Board of Education for 17 years, and 19 years Secretary to the Superintendent at the Lakota High School, up to her retirement in 1982. Ronald and Margie spent several winters in their home at Winter Green Estates in Mission, Texas. They then returned to their home in Lakota to make it permanent. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald of 60 years, her brother Herbert, and sisters Lavon & Marion. Margie will be greatly missed by her son, Herbert, grandchildren, Tulsa, Ashley, and Macy, & sister Maxine Brones. She is survived by many loved nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
