Marguerite Leon LuekeCamarillo, CAIt is with great and heartfelt sorrow that the family of Marguerite "Marge" Leon Lueke, 89, announces her passing on September 24th, 2017. She left this world as she had lived, surrounded by loving family and friends. Marge's passing was proceeded by that of her beloved husband Julius who passed in 2001, her youngest daughter Beverly Jean who died in infancy in 1954, her parents, George and Clara; as well as her siblings, Anna, Helen, Robert, Paul, Donald, Dorothy, Franklin and Ruth. She is survived by her three children George, Dorothy, and Tom; as well as two siblings, Gerald and Betty. She also leaves behind her five grandchildren Melissa, Amber, Daniel, Madeleine, Desiree and four great-grandchildren.Marge was born on October 17, 1927 in Delta, Ohio, the sixth of eleven children born to George and Clara Snyder. She married Julius John Lueke on January 25, 1947 and the couple enjoyed nearly 55 years of wedded bliss before Julius' passing in November of 2001. For the better part of 30 years, Marge enjoyed a prosperous and successful career in real estate. She enjoyed helping young families just starting out with finding their first home in various parts of Ventura County. Marge was also a resident of Ventura County for almost 58 years. Strong in her faith, she was an active member of the Ascension Lutheran Church of Thousand Oaks for close to 60 years. Marge will be dearly missed by her many colleagues and friends.As per her wishes, a viewing has been scheduled at Pierce Brothers' Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park located at 5600 Lindero Canyon Rd, Westlake Village, CA 91362. The viewing will take place from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday September 28. Services are set for 10:30am Friday September 29th at Ascension Lutheran Church of Thousand Oaks 1600 East Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks, CA.
