María Alvarado, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 26, 2024, in her hometown of Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, just five days after celebrating her 70th birthday.

María was born on July 21, 1954, to Maria Gonzales, who she loved dearly and always took after in her caring and nurturing nature. She leaves behind three children, Erica, Mari, and Afroditi, who were her pride and joy.

María was known for her infectious laughter and love of dancing. She could light up any room with her smile and never missed an opportunity to make those around her laugh. Her family and friends will always cherish the memories of dancing with her and sharing in her joy.

María also adored her five grandchildren, who brought her so much happiness. She loved spending time with them and seeing them grow and thrive.

Though she may be gone, María will forever be remembered for her lively spirit, her love of life, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. Rest in peace, María Alvarado.
