Marca, Maria Passed away on May 30, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 103. Maria was born on February 2, 1914 in San Biagio Platani, Sicily, Italy; where she raised her 4 boys, Salvatore, Giovanni, Jerry and Joe. She came to America in 1956 with her family and lived in Newark, New Jersey; then later moved to Arizona to be with her family and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Emanuelle Marca; her sisters, Carmela, Angelina, Luigina and Stefana; and her brothers, Girolamo, Guieseppe and Angelo. Maria lived a life devoted to God and her family. She loved the Lord and prayed and read the bible daily. Everyone that she met, she would pray for them. She was always there to help her family. She was a loving mother to her boys and family, and adored by her grandchildren. Maria will always be remembered for the love she showed to others and her kind heart. She was very close to her family and wanted her family to spend every major holiday with her where she would love to hear her sons singing her favorite gospel songs around the piano while she was preparing a holiday dinner. She will be remembered for her vibrant smile, remarkable memory and most of all, her kind heart. A celebration of her life will be held at Green Acres Chapel of Light (401 N. Hayden Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85257) Tuesday, June 6, 2017, visitation from 9:00 am to 12:00pm, service will start at 12:30 pm followed by a graveside service at Green Acres Cemetery.
