Maria "Mary" Veszelovszky Maria "Mary" Veszelovszky passed away peacefully on November 20, 2016, at the age of 89. She was born on August 5, 1927, in Bedo, Hungary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Miklos and youngest son, Steven and now joins them in Heaven. She is survived by her children, Miklos Veszelovszky Jr., Mary Farler and Elizabeth Norsby; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mary, Miklos and Miklos Jr. immigrated from Hungary in 1956 in search of a better life. With tremendous faith, they bravely embarked on their journey to America with only the clothes on their backs and without knowing the English language. With tremendous support from the Catholic Church, their basic needs were provided for to get them started with their new lives. They settled in Marysville, WA where they lived for almost 60 years. Mary was very loving and generous, always doing for others. She loved gardening, cooking, making crafts and telling stories of her life's adventures. She was very active in her church, completely devoted to the Lord and volunteered for numerous activities and events. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Memorial Services will be held at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home in Marysville, WA on Friday, December 2, 2016, at 2:00 p.m.
