She was born on Sunday, June 23, 1940, to the late Thomas and Louise (Sorrells) Benton. She was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 680, and loved animals which she had rescued several. Mrs. Hazlett never met a stranger. She always greeted them with a smile and a cheerful personality.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Hazlett; daughter, Linda Siron Flick. Survivors include her sons, Darrell Siron (Rhonda), Shane Siron (Loretta); daughter, Kathy Siron; sister, Frances Benton (Brenda); half brother Lee Benton (Terry); 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous cousins and extended family members.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Augusta Memorial Park, officiated by family members.Friends may pay their respects at McDow Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
