Marianne Robertson Pairet • CrozetMarianne Robertson Pairet of Crozet passed away peacefully at The Laurels of Charlottesville on May 4, 2017. She was born on October 19, 1929 in Craigsville, VA to the late Luther D. Robertson and Nettie S. Robertson. She was preceded in death by Lawrence E. Pairet, her loving husband of 52 years, her brothers Luther, Zane, Warren, and Frank and sister Ruth Raither. Marianne is survived by her devoted children, Pamela Wolf (Douglas), Eddie Pairet (Ginny) and Valerie Pairet (Jim Grant) and three grandchildren, Charles Wolf (Kelli), Kathryn Wolf and Hannah Seal, her sisters Carolyn Hicks and Janet Tuttle and brother-in-law, Robert Elliott (Cathy) and many nieces and nephews.Marianne was a dedicated member of Crozet Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was a charter member of the Pilot Club, a member of the Midway Women's Club and the Red Hatters Society.Marianne will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving, gentle person. Her sweet smile and generous nature touched many lives. She always saw the best in everyone and will be missed terribly by her family and friends. A friend once said, "I genuinely have never known anyone so consistently sweet and kind as your Mom". This statement says it all. The family would like to thank everyone at The Laurels of Charlottesville for taking such good care of Marianne. Dr. Jonathan Evans and the entire staff treated Mom with dignity, respect, grace and love and we will never forget their kindness and support.Anderson Funeral Services of Crozet is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 8th 6 -8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at Crozet Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 9th at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Rockgate Cemetery in Crozet.
