Marie Burns, 72, passed on June 20, 2021. She was born to John and Anna Mae in Berkeley, California on May 24, 1949.

She married Theotrice in 1960 and they lived together in Berkeley, California. Together they raised 5 children Evelyn , Jeanette (Antoine), Rose (Jeremy), Terry, Shrielle . She is also survived by 6 grandchildren. Jeanette, BriJainA, Antoinette, Lesliana , Jessica and Damien.

Marie worked at Nurse until she retired in 1999 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. She also volunteered at the Church Homes and always made sure to be a positive influence in the life of others.

As we continue to celebrate her life and cherish her. We will always hold on to our memories and the times she always had her door open.
