It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie Jones, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. Maire peacefully passed away on January 31, 2025, surrounded by her family, at the age of 80.

Born on December 15,1944, in Denver, Colorado, Maire grew up with a passion for the outdoors and a deep love for his community. After graduating from high school, where he earned commendations for his dedication and courage.

Outside of work, Marie was an avid with his family. He spent countless weekends with loved ones and passing on her love for faith of the Lord onto her children and grandchildren. Her also volunteered regularly at his local church, where he served as a deacon and mentor to many younger members of the congregation.

Marie is survived by her loving daughter, Tina Stafford; her two grandchildren, Sierra Lung and Cecil Lung(Bubby); her two great grandchildren, Tristan Lung and Aiden Lung; and her three nieces, Christine Lee Gandy, Karen Denise Gandy and Michelle LeAnn Thornberry. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tammy Owens and her grandchild Shamika Jones.
