Bohman, Marie L.Marie L. Bohman, 91, Stratford, died with family at her side, on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Country Terrace in Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Stratford, with Rev. Sengole Vethanayagam officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Town of Eau Pleine and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday at Sauter / Rembs Funeral Home, Stratford and from 10:00 am on Thursday until service time at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. St. Joseph's Parish Council of Catholic Women will recite the rosary at 7:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. The
Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post #6352 will conduct a service at 10:00 am on Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Marie was born on March 10, 1925 in Medford, to Martin and Rose (Hellmann) Diers. She was united in marriage to Robert F. Bohman on June 12, 1951 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Bakerville. He died on March 3, 2009. Marie and Bob farmed in the Town of Cleveland until their retirement when they moved to the Village of Stratford. Marie was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women and lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post #6352. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, spending time by the water, fishing, playing cards, and spending time with her children and grand and great grandchildren. Marie is survived by her 6 children, Tony Bohman Stratford, Diane (Dave) Andraska of Black River Falls, Karen (Randy) Delis of Auburndale, Mike (Deb) Bohman, Arnie (Ruth) Bohman and Gary (Kari) Bohman, all of Stratford. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is further survived by 3 sisters, Isabelle Kroening and Helen Hofmann, both of Marshfield, and Rosina (Clyde) Ehlert of West Bend and a sister-in-law, Nita Diers of Marshfield. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a sister, Sally Gaffney and a brother, Willy Diers.
