Marie Hasenberg, a beloved resident of Montgomery, Alabama, peacefully departed this world on December 13 2023, at the age of 83. She graced this earth with her presence on January 9, 1950, and left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. Marie was a compassionate soul, always exuding warmth and kindness in her interactions with others. Known for her gentle nature and infectious laughter, she brightened the lives of those around her. Her absence will be deeply felt by friends and acquaintances alike, as Montgomery mourns the loss of a truly remarkable woman. Marie's legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the memories of those who had the privilege of crossing paths with her.

Survivors include her husband Daivd Hasenberg; family Mara (Jonathan) Wiley, Christie (Stephen) Kretsinger, Diana (Andre) Tuxford, Barry Hasenberg, Anne (Robert) Engels, Kathleen Saller, Roxanne (Clint) Baker, and Joseph-Friedrich Hasenberg; ; siblings Monica Havins, Gina Mountain, Rick Zanone, Charles Zanone, Serena Walsh, Joanna Reindel, and Paul Zanone; grandchildren Grace Wiley, Paul Kretsinger, Teddy Kretsinger, Sam Kretsinger, Antonio Tuxford, Nicolai Tuxford, Lucas Engels, Nadia Engels, Sonny Saller, Richard Saller, Raymond Baker and Thora Baker; and many other extended family members.
