Marilyn Rogers, 57, of Houston, Texas, passed on October 15, 2020. Marilyn was born on November 28, 1962 in Pasadena California to the union of Clyde and Maggie Smith. She was the youngest of two children. She accepted the lord at an early age.
Marilyn went to local primary and elementery schools in Pasadena, CA. She graduated from Blair High School in Pasadena, CA where she received her high school diploma. She attended Pasadena City College where she was enrolled in the Nursing Program and was a licensed Phlebotomist. Marilyn worked as a Care Giver in both states, California and Texas.
Marilyn loved going to church, family gatherings, dancing and she loved watching basketball. Her favorite team was the Los Angeles Lakers.
Marilyn was loved very much by her family, in fact some family members considered her as their sister rather than cousin, To her nieces and nephews she was known as Auntie Chubby. She was always there for them. She was a giver from her heart and willing to help in any way she could.

Marilyn leaves behind to cherish her wonderful memories: Her daughter Shanel Edwards, three sons James Wilson, Ronald Denard, and Richard Woolfolk, 11 grandchildren, her fiance Deacon Troy Williams and a host of Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
