She was born on September 6, 1933 to the late Arthur and Sylvia (Repitz) Seidl.She was a lifelong active member of St. Therese Parish where she was Lector for many years, a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She worked for Kewaunee Area Memorial Hospital for many years.She married Milton W. Schleis on November 30, 1955 and he preceded her in death on May 24, 2010.Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law: Michael and Mark Schleis of Kewaunee; Marty and Joy Schleis, Mishicot; two daughters and sons-in-law: Margie and Glenn Parmenter, Kewaunee; Missy and Joe Wotachek, Tisch Mills; one son-in-law: John (Merideth) Shaulis, Knoxville, TN: one Step Granddaughter: Julie (Ryan) Hickey, TN; two step great grandchildren: Jack Nemeth and Jacob Hickey; one brother and sister-in-law: Jerry and Diane Seidl, Manitowoc; one sister and brother-in-law: Barb and Ron Seibel, Fremont; three sisters-in-law: Shirley Pancratz, Manitowoc; Deloris Schleis, Green Bay; Darlene Franke, California; one sister-in-law: Donna (Robert) Gadzinski, Kewaunee; one brother-in-law: Danny (Helen) Schleis, Kewaunee; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Monica Shaulis; one grandson: Adam Jurczykowski; one brother: Eugene Seidl.Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 2 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee. A parish wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues Monday after 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Church, Stangelville at 11:00 a.m. by Fr. William O'Brien.
