Marion Kelsey KrigbaumSOUTH ZANESVILLE: Marion Kelsey Krigbaum, 81, of South Zanesville, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Sat. April 16, 2016. He was born on June 12, 1934 in South Zanesville a son of the late William Otis and Mabel L. Krigbaum.He is survived by his wife of 50 years Nellie Ann (Swingle) Krigbaum. Two daughters Karen K. (Jay) Gill and Kim K. Touvell. Two grandchildren Jason M. Gill and Taylor J. Touvell. Special friends John Roberts and Bud Dollings.He was preceded in death by one son Kenny Krigbaum. Two sisters Dorothy (Donald) Cochran and Lenora Hamilton.He was a member of the Maysville High School Athletic Boosters, the South Zanesville Youth Baseball League, President of the Maysville Youth Basketball, member of the Muskingum County Township Association, he was a Springfield Township Trustee for 12 years, member of the Zanesville High School Tip-Off Club and the Quarterback Club, member of the Muskingum Valley Old Timers Association, member of the Maysville Hall of Fame, member of South Zanesville Village Council for a number of years, he coached Babe Ruth Baseball, an avid Cleveland Indians fan and was a season ticket holder for 53 consecutive years for Ohio State Men's Basketball, was a member of Rolling Plains United Methodist Church. Kelsey was a friend to many and could often be found greeting the community at Fink's Used Cars or Wal-Mart. Special thanks to Doug Capps of Interim Hospice-Coshocton for his special care, compassion and friendship for the past several months. Kelsey was employed at Ralph L. Fulkerson and Sons Painting Contractor for 45 years.Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Mon. Apr. 18, 2016 and from 2-8 p.m. Tue. Apr. 19, 2016 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wed. Apr. 20, 2016 at Rolling Plains United Methodist Church 3350 Moxahala Park Road Zanesville, Ohio. Rev. John Alice officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kelsey Krigbaum Scholarship Fund 3715 Panther Drive Zanesville, Ohio 43701 attention Lew Sidwell, Treasurer of Maysville Local School District or to Rolling Plains U.M.
