Schimmelpfenning, Marion M.Marion Margaret (Collar) Schimmelpfenning, 78, Shawano, died on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Shawano ThedaCare surrounded by her family. She was born on August 25, 1938, the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Lippert) Collar. Marion and Cliff were often seen at various polka venues and loved to dance and take bus trips to play the penny machines. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her an incredible amount of joy and she remembered them all with little trinkets and cards for every holiday.Marion is survived by her husband of 30 years, Clifford; five children, David Davis, Randy Davis, Carlene (Steve) Scherg, Lynn Davis-Hickman, and Theresa (Dave) Kabat; two step-daughters who she loved as her own, Debra Winter and Donna Koebe (Joe Harlow); 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Collar and a sister, Ardell "Tootie" Konieczny; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marion was preceded in death by six brothers, Louis, Willard, Victor, Francis, Eugene and an infant brother. Visitation and celebration of life will be held Wednesday, November 30th from 1:00-3:00pm followed by a service at 3:00pm at Valley Funeral Home, Appleton, WI.
