Marion schreihart, 84 MONROE, WI. - Marion Schreihart, 84, of Monroe, formerly of Dodgeville, WI., died on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Azura Memory Care in Monroe. Marion was born on September 17, 1930 in Milwaukee, to Henry and Laura (Koester) Steinegger. Marion married the love of her life, Jimmy J. Schreihart, on October 18, 1952, whom she now joins in heaven. She enjoyed working for many years at Campbells and then Kozelka-Wall clothing store in Dodgeville. Marion was a member of the Dodgeville UMC for many years before moving to Monroe and transferring her membership to the Monroe UMC in 2012. She loved the outdoors, gardening, planting flowers, and walking. She enjoyed singing and had a large collection of owls. Marion will be greatly missed by her 3 children, Steve (Linda) Schreihart of Madison and their sons, Thomas of Madison and Andrew of Ft. Stewart, GA; Gwen (Terry) Shaker of Monroe and their daughters, Amanda (Pete) Dudek of Phoenix, AZ., Cassandra Shaker of North Branch, MN., and Jessica Shaker of Monroe; and Laura (Randy) Mellen of Freeport, IL., and their sons, Jared (Christian) Knutson of Fort Gordon, GA., Cody Knutson of Freeport, and Jordan Knutson of Ramstein AFB, Germany; 3 great grandchildren, Rachel and Jack Knutson, John Dudek; a sister, Bernice Brekke of Dalton, WI.; a brother, Donald (Susan) Steinegger of Lincoln, Nebraska; and many other loving nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy in 1991; her parents; a sister, Betty (Bruce) Pritzlaff; a brother-in-law, Edward Brekke; mother-in-law, Pat Blackmer; and a sister-in-law, Penny (Roy) Leet. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015, at 11 a.m., at the Monroe United Methodist Church with Reverend Randy Booth officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Marion's name to Monroe UMC, Dodgeville UMC, or the . The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family. Marion's family would like to thank Azura Memory Care for their exceptional, loving care of their mom.
