Henthorne, 87, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 28, 2014.She was born on March 19, 1927 in Dresden a daughter of the late Grover and Nellie Sarbaugh. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling with her husband.She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Jack Henthorne; one son, John (Marian) Henthorne; two daughters, Regina Metzler and Becky (Joe) Mattingly; seven grandchildren, Michael (Jaime) Metzler, Stephanie (Jeremy) Butler, David (Teresa) Metzler, Emily (Nate) Near, Trisha (Joe) Brayboy, Tashia Mattingly, and Slade Mattingly; eight great-grandchildren, Taelyn Dickinson, Ryan, Noah, and Liam Metzler, Paetynn and Boston Brayboy, Ila Near, Owen Metzler; one brother, Lawrence Sarbaugh; close brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Ruth Henthorne.Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2014 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Drive, White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2014. Pat Wiseman-Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.Memorials may be made to Rolling Plains United Methodist Church.
