JACKSONMarjorie Lois (nee Snapp) Jackson, of Cincinnati, passed away on May 17, 2017 at the age of 92. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Lodington Jackson, sister to the late Mary Snapp and Dr. Richard Snapp, devoted mother of Judith Anne Jackson of Lockport, New York, and Dr. Richard Lewis Jackson (Kimberly) of Cincinnati, Ohio and the late William Ross Jackson. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (John, Jr) Krehbiel, Meredith Jackson, and Caroline Jackson. Adoring great-grandmother of Margot, Davis, and the late Hannah and Penelope Krehbiel. Marge was born on October 2, 1924, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Charles Ross and Jenny Asbury Snapp and grew up in Whiting, Indiana. She graduated from Whiting High School and Indiana University where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. It was there that she received her degree in Education and her Masters degree in Education. She lived most of her life in Oberlin, Ohio where she was a guidance counselor at Oberlin Junior High School, and Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst, Ohio while her husband was Director of Admissions at Oberlin College. She lived her later years in Pinehurst, North Carolina and Mariemont, Ohio and was active in MariElders in Mariemont, serving three terms as their president. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Jackson will be interred with her husband in Spring Grove Cemetery.
