Marjorie I. Kexel Knight 1923 - 2016 Marjorie I. Knight, 92, of Kenosha passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016, at Kenosha Estates Rehabilitation and Care Center. Marjorie was born on Sept. 26, 1923, in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Dorow) Stettner. She moved to Kenosha with her family at an early age and attended local schools. She married William A. Kexel, Sr. on his birthday, July 10, 1940, raised five sons and later divorced. Marjorie continued to work at American Motors/Chrysler until her retirement in 1986 after 30 years of service. She married JC Knight in Dec. of 1982. After his retirement, also from AMC/Chrysler, Marjorie and JC moved to Greenwood Springs, MS, in the spring of 1987 where he had grown up. After JC's death 2001, Marjorie continued to live in Mississippi until August of 2005 when she returned to Kenosha to live out her life. She is survived by one brother, Ken (Dolorse) Stettner of Kenosha; sisters, Elinor Frisque and Irene Church of Kenosha; sons, Gerald (Geri) Kexel of Kenosha, William (Lynda) Kexel Jr., of Albuquerque, NM, and James Kexel of Milwaukee; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both her husbands, one brother, Harold "Hal" Stettner, five sisters, Marion, Evelyn, Mildred, Dorothy, and Doris; two sons, Donald Kexel and Vincent Kexel, and a granddaughter Janet Kexel. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 10-11 a.m. with funeral services to follow. Burial Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
