Hassell, Marjorie Waite Jul. 18, 1923 - Nov. 17, 2015 Marjorie Waite Hassell, 'Jean', 92, of Osprey, FL passed away on November 17, 2015 and is on her way to join her heavenly Father. Jean was born on July 18, 1923 to John Albert and Marjorie Fitch Waite in Brockton, Massachusetts. She enjoyed her role as an active member of her church, St. Andrew UCC. She recently celebrated 71 years of marriage to her husband, Frank Arnold Hassell, whom she married on March 1, 1944. In earlier years, she was very active in her commitment on the scholarship committee of the Myakka Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was associated with many hereditary groups. Jean is survived by her husband, Frank Hassell; her children and their spouses, Robert and Linda Hassell, John and Janet Hassell, and Lincoln and Sheri Hassell; her grandchildren, Matthew Hassell and Kristen DiStasio; and her sister, Barbara Lincoln. She will be best remembered by her warm personality, her delightful sense of humor and her enthusiasm for life.
