BUTLER — Marjorie R. Washler, 90, of Butler passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Laurels of DeKalb Nursing Home in Butler. She was born on Dec. 12, 1925, in Fort Wayne to Chester and Eulalia (Wemhoff) Lott. She was a 1943 graduate of Butler High School and a member of the Newville Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school and was a pianist. Marjorie was a homemaker and helped her husband, Delbert, deliver farm produce and vend produce at the Southside Market in Fort Wayne. She married Delbert Washler on April 9, 1944, in the Newville Church of Christ, and he passed away June 1, 2011. Surviving are three daughters and two sons, Judith Ann (Roger) Moughler of Butler, Nancy (John) Scoville of Butler, Ann Washler of Chatsworth, California, Scott Washler of Hicksville, Ohio, and Brian (Amy) Washler of Butler. There are 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Barbara Washler; and her brother, Charles Lott. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the Newville Church of Christ, with D.V. Dillinger officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery of Newville. Calling is Friday, March 11, from 2-8 p.m. at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, and also one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church from 10-11 a.m. Preferred memorials are to the , or the Newville Church of Christ.
