Whitmore, Dr. Mark A.Dr. Mark Allan Whitmore, age 62, passed away on September 29, 2017. He was born on August 21, 1955 to Charles and Barbara (Kenyon) Whitmore in Ottawa, Illinois. On November 5, 1983 Mark married Debra Viock in Ottawa, IL. Debra preceded him in death in 2015.Mark graduated from the University of Illinois at Rockford Medical School. Mark's internship year was at Berkshire Medical Center in Massachusetts, where he met his wife. He completed his residency in New Jersey. Mark practiced in Fond du Lac for over 20 years. He was very dedicated to his patients.Mark enjoyed his property, especially the wildflowers and birds. He was a foreign coin and comic strip collector. Mark was a devoted family man and physician.Mark is survived by a son Brian Guilmette, a daughter Jennifer Whitmore, and grandchildren Trinity and Connor Guilmette. He is further survived by one brother Bruce (Romelle) Whitmore, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends.Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Debra, his parents, Charles and Barbara and his brother, Geoff Whitmore.Private family services are being held.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Agnesian Health Care Foundation, 430 E.
