Mark L. BeckerSpring GroveMark L. Becker, 42, died of natural causes Sunday November 20, 2016 at his home. He was the companion of Carol A. Heltzel for the past 12 years. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2016 at the Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Ave., Hanover, with Pastor Mike Osladil, officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery, Codorus. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jefferson Fire Company 31 Berlin St., Codorus, and from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at Calvary Bible Church.Mark was born on September 19, 1974 in York, and was a son of the late David L. Becker and Brenda J. (McKinsey) Becker Arnold and step-Son of Dennis H. Arnold of Spring Grove.He worked many years as a farm hand at C & P Farms in Glenville. He was an active member and served as Assistant Chief of the Jefferson Fire Company for many years. He also was a member of Calvary Bible Church, the Jefferson Sportsmen's Club, the York County Fire Police Association and the York County Firefighter's Association. Marks also leaves two daughters, Monica A. Becker and Brittany M. Becker of Spring Grove; and two grandchildren, Caiden and A'myra; two sisters, Michelle J Miller and husband, Dan of York New Salem, and Mandy S. Little of Hanover; and two step brothers, Jeffrey S. Arnold of Hallam and Anthony W. Arnold of Stoverstown. He was predeceased by a sister, Melissa S. Doll. He will also be missed by his Fire-Fighter brothers and sisters.
