Mark Humphreys, 57, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away on November 17, 2016 in Lufkin, Texas. Mark was born on November 25, 1958, the son of Bobby Lin and Linnie Beth King Humphreys. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Laird Funeral Home with Bro. Bo Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 1:00pm until service time. Mark was born and raised in Nacogdoches, Texas. He graduated from Martinsville High School. Markie Doodle and Hump are a couple names Mark also went by. He spent lots of time on the houseboat on the lake growing up. Mark also enjoyed fishing and dancing in his spare time. He was a loving father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Nathyan Guarnere, Lackie Bradberry, Justin Payne, Rodney Baker, Travis Humphreys, Ryan Jeffcoat, and Dennis Esch. Mark is survived by his daughters: Brittany Ann Humphreys of Nacogdoches, Amanda Tillis and husband, Cody of Nacogdoches; brother, Bobby Humphreys and wife, Anita of Nacogdoches; sisters: Teresa Payne and husband, Ricky of Fred, Texas, Tammie Tarpley and husband, Michael of Nacogdoches; lifelong friend Pamela Humphreys Guarnere of Nacogdoches, grandchildren: Nathyan Guarnere, C'Anna Guarnere, Taylor Tillis, and Jacey Tillis all of Nacogdoches, along with other family and friends.
