Mark Butler passed away in Houston, TX on October 30, 2024, at the age of 66. Mark was born on September 1, 1958 in Beaverlodge, AB, Canada. Mark had a love for duck hunting, cooking, eating crawfish, 70’s rock and roll, the Saints and football in general. He had a passion for the sea and would love to to come back home and talk about all the different countries and ports he had visited around the globe. He probably sailed the world at least 4 times literally in a single voyage. He gifts and currency from all his ports of call such as places like Africa, India, Russia, Yemen, S. Korea, Spain and many more. He worked on tanker ships, cargo ships, car transport ships. There were years that he spent more time on the sea in a calendar year than he spent on land. I believe the sea gave him a since of purpose.
