Marlene Anderson SchwabMarlene Anderson Schwab, 81, returned to Heavenly Father on 2 August 2016, passing peacefully in her sleep. Marlene was born on 24 July 1935 in Auburn, Wyoming to Orlando and Annetta Frandsen Anderson. She had 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Marlene grew up on farms in Auburn and Thayne, Wyoming. She attended schools in Star Valley, finishing her schooling at Pocatello High School in Pocatello, Idaho. Marlene married Gene Hale Schwab 5 August 1951. Marlene and Gene later settled in Pocatello where they raised a family of 4; 2 boys and 2 girls. Marlene and Gene took their young family to the Idaho Falls Temple to be sealed as an eternal family on 4 January 1962. Gene passed away in December 1984.A year after Gene's passing; Marlene married Reed Hall; who passed away in 2014. Marlene worked at the Bon Marche for 19 years. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Marlene served in Primary, Sunday school, and Relief Society.She is survived by her siblings, Dewey (Linda) Anderson, Soda Springs, LaMont Anderson, Auburn, California, Kay (JoAnn) Anderson, Chubbuck, Jean Brock, Colorado; sister-in-law, Carolyn Anderson, Twin Falls; her children, Michael Gene (Jan) Schwab of Clovis, California, Anna Marie Jones, Norcross, Georgia, Danny Ray (Kelli) Schwab, Inkom, and Lora Lee (Kimbal) Graff, Idaho Falls; 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.A viewing will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 11 am at the Alameda Stake Center, 930 E.
