Bessler, Marlene A.Marlene A. Bessler, age 73, of 1872 Whitewater Circle, Manitowoc, died Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.She was born on April 25, 1941 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Walter and Marcella (Weier) Cornils. Marlene was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1959. On May 23, 1970 she married Edward Bessler at St. John United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. Marlene was employed at Hamilton's of Two Rivers and also Lube Devices of Manitowoc, retiring from there in 2003. She loved spending time at the cabin the Pembine area, being outdoors and hunting. She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed family gatherings, especially with her grandkids.Survivors include her husband: Edward Bessler, Manitowoc; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Kevin Bessler, Illinois, Kurk and Chris Bessler, Manitowoc, Bret and Jodi Bessler, Two Rivers; nine grandchildren: Dalton, Ryne, twins Cassidy and Copper, Conner, Brianna, Maddie, Allie and Brianna; one great granddaughter: Kora; six sisters and five brothers-in-law: Gladys Witak, Cooperstown, Mary Jane Pond, Manitowoc, Karen and Larry Teesch, Valders, Joanne and Dale Henry, Shawano, Barbara and Wayne Gallas, Mishicot, Connie and John McNellis, Mishicot; two brothers and three sisters-in-law: James and Ramona Cornils, Mishicot, Rick and Roxanne Cornils, Oshkosh, Irene Cornils, Sturgeon Bay; and one sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Karen and Len Duquette, Suamico, Fred Bessler and special friend Pam, Green Bay. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by a son: Brad Beyer; two brothers: John Cornils and Paul Cornils; three brothers-in-law: Vic Witak, Don Machia, David Pond; and a sister-in-law: Sue Bessler.Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Memorial Service will be the Rev.
