Marlon Styles, a loving father, grandfather, and pillar of his community, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the age of 49.
Born on March 20, 1975, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Marlon grew up with a passion for life's simple joys. As a child, he delighted in beach trips, playing marbles, fishing, and fixing bikes. His love for animals and the great outdoors stayed with him throughout his life.
Marlon's faith was an essential part of his journey. He attended United Methodist Church as a child and later became a devoted member of Inspirational Bible Church.
Above all, Marlon's greatest pride and joy were his family. He was an extraordinary father, grandfather, and uncle, always putting the needs of others before his own. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, creating lasting memories through outings, holiday celebrations, and monthly family dinners.
Marlon's wisdom and guidance inspired those around him. His advice to "never give up" and his unwavering support will be deeply missed. He emphasized the importance of education, instilling in his family the value of knowledge and personal growth.
Marlon is survived by his father, Michael Styles; step-mother, Paula Taylor-Styles; children, Leon Durgan, Jade Johnson, Amber Styles, T'Keyah Brown-Styles, and Marlon Styles III; grandchildren, Zoey Styles; and siblings, Tanya Styles, Jessica Taylor-Styles, and Danielle Taylor-Styles.
Though Marlon's passing leaves a tremendous void, his legacy of love, devotion, and wisdom will continue to inspire and guide his family and community.
