Marsha was born on April 21, 1950, in Freeport, Illinois to Lyle and Margaret Scheider. They lived in Orangeville, Illinois. She grew up on a farm and had 6 siblings; twin brothers, John and Jim (Mary) Scheider, Karl (Karon) Scheider, Beth (Daylon) Becke, Mary (Wayne) Albright and Kevin (Lori) Scheider. Marsha was a 1968 graduate of Orangeville High School. She married Ronnie Stamm in 1970, for a marriage of 20 years. They had one child, daughter, Amy Stamm Wishard (Steve) and two grandchildren; Austin, age 16 and Ashley age 12. Marsha enjoyed her nursing career while living in Illinois and had a special gift to care for the elderly. She was always known for her true compassion and caring nature with the care she gave to her patients. In 1992, she moved to Florida with her special friend, Jeff Wishard. A bond of love and friendship was formed until his passing in March 1994. Marsha married Leamon Richardson in April 1998, until his passing in March 2011. Marsha retired from Nursing in 2003, due to a genetic heart condition, but very much continued to live and enjoy a fulfilling life. She loved to play golf, throw darts, spend time with family and friends and found such enjoyment and pleasure by attending Austin's football, basketball and baseball games and watching Ashley play softball. She was always their biggest fan! In 2012, she met special friend, Ed Clifton, where they spent the winters in Florida and the summers in Lewes, Delaware. Marsha was well known for her involvement in her family's lives, compassion and caring nature, sense of humor, her beautiful smile and that contagious laugh. Marsha was known for her famous "party potatoes" and were requested frequently for holidays and any special event or gathering. Marsha came to live with her daughter, Amy and her family in August 2014. A diagnosis of Pancreatic cancer was discovered in December 2014, and though her time here was short, her life was filled daily with love, laughter, care, concern, respect and kindness surrounded by family and friends who loved her dearly. Marsha wanted to extend out and HUGE thank you to all of Amy and Steve's friends who just took her in like family and made her feel so welcomed and loved. Special thanks to Judy Rosola and Veeda Posey who provided such a deep friendship of support, love and kindness to her. All the times they came and just sat with her was deeply appreciated. Two long time, outstanding friends, Jimmy and Shirley Obert, who impacted Marsha's life so. Best friends are like stars. You don't always see them, but you know they are always there. Another thank you to all the family and friends who made the effort to travel and come and see Marsha before she passed. All those visitors and time spent with her, where all true treasures. One goal of Marsha's was to get to Hawaii, but unfortunately due to the rapid onset and decline of her cancer, this was not possible. The memory of 12-31-14, New Year Eve's Hawaiian Luau party in her honor will never be forgotten. We will forever remember fulfilling her wish of having "Rocky Mountain Oysters." Special thanks to Las Vegas Solari Hospice care for the true love, respect and care given to Marsha and her family. Special note to RN Patti who always treated Marsha like family as her visits were genuine and it clearly was not just a job to her. The end of life care received was so comforting and appreciated.
