Martha (Marty) Daily NaugleMartha (Marty) Daily Naugle died of natural causes on June 17th, 2017 in Richardson, Texas; she was 88. Martha was born on December 6, 1928 in Lafayette, Indiana to Charles and Anna Dorothy Daily. In 1951 she married Roy Naugle and they eventually settled in Lafayette, Indiana to raise their family.Martha graduated from Jefferson High School in Lafayette and from Purdue University. She taught at Crouch Elementary, the school she attended as a child. She was also an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church.In 1975 Martha and Roy moved to Richardson, Texas, where she was the Director at Lookout Community Preschool, and later was Director of the Arapaho Road United Methodist Preschool before retiring. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Richardson and did volunteer work for the church. She also spent many happy years volunteering at the Richardson Public Library. Other activities included square dancing with the Texas Reelers, hosting several annual Crime Watch Neighborhood gatherings, and delivering Meals on Wheels.Martha is survived by her husband of 66 years, Roy Naugle, four daughters: Carleen Naugle of Garland, Texas, Kathie Young of Lafayette, Indiana, Anna LeBlanc of Coconut Creek, Florida, Dindy Robinson of Beaumont, Texas, and sister Rachel Richardson of Lafayette, Indiana. Also surviving are sons-in-law, Warren LeBlanc and Bill Robinson, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.Her parents, sisters Agnes Howe and Marilyn Wagner, her brother Charles Daily, and son-in-law Charles Young preceded Martha in death.A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Children's Department at the Richardson Public Library in Richardson, Texas.
