LanesvilleCecil, Martha Faye "Marty" (Vincent),58, of Lanesville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 30, 2016. She was an incredibly passionate social worker for the state of Indiana. Along with that passion for others, Marty was a dedicated mother that took pride in her son and all of his accomplishments. She was born on June 3, 1958 in Gary, Indiana to the late Bobby and Georgia (Shemwell) Vincent. Marty is survived by her son, Christopher "Vince" Cecil; brother, Michael Vincent (Kym); nieces, Leia Vincent, Krystl Bietry (Chris), Jamie Vincent, Samantha Vincent; extended family, Mary Cecil, Chris Cecil, James Lustig; and a countless number of individuals that she touched and cared for over the course of her career. Cremation was chosen following Marty's wishes. A celebration of her life will take place at 2 PM on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Pfrimmer's Chapel UMC (505 Pfrimmer's Chapel Road NE, Corydon, IN 47122). She will be laid to rest privately at a later date.
