Hovet, MarthaMartha Hovet, 90, of Wausau passed away on June 28, 2017 at Copperleaf Assisted Living. Martha was born on May 16, 1927 in Fargo, ND to the late Henry and Anna (Fichtner) Kleven. She married Marvin D. Hovet on March 29, 1947 in Moorehead, MN. Mavin preceded Martha in death on December 21, 1997. Martha loved to bowl, do crossword puzzles, shop, read and especially spend time with her family.Martha is survived by children, Karen (Jerry) Koch, Gary (Kathy) Hovet, Jane (Pete) Kohl, Mary Ellen (Tim) Lindsley, Brian Hovet, and Rae (Joe) Pettis; grandchildren, Denise (Scott) Fields, Dawn (Tim) Sawvel, Dennis (Michelle) Koch, Brenda Lemanski, Jamie (Adam) Rusch, Adam Hellerud, Steve (Meg) Wein, Justin Pettis, and Josh Pettis; 14 great-grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren. Martha is preceded in death by husband, Marvin, daughter, Susan Lemanski and granddaughter, Donna Lemanski. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 630 Adams Street, Wausau. Rev. Dr. Niveen Sarras will officiate. Visitation will be from 9am until the time of service at the church.
