Martha L. (Harris) Haney, 54Muncie - Martha L. (Harris) Haney, 54, passed away Saturday morning, June 24, 2017, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.She was born on September 6, 1962, in Annapolis, MD the daughter of Joseph and Margot (L'Hommedieu) Harris, moved to Muncie as an infant, graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1980, and received her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Ball State University.Martha was employed with Ball State University at Bracken Library.She was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, where she was an elder and served in various other positions. Martha was an avid reader, Colts fan, gardener, and pet lover.Surviving are her daughter, Stefanie Haney, Muncie; three sisters, Paula McCarty (husband, Tom), Cheyenne, WY, Anne Harris (fiancé, Randy), Anderson, and Rebecca Harris (fiancé, Dave), Anderson; her brother, Bruce Harris (fiancée, Diane), Hesperia, CA; her mother-in-law, Jean Haney, Muncie; dear family friend, Janet Burkhart, Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael in 2016; and two children, Scott and Marissa Haney.Memorial services for Michael and Martha will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.The family wishes to express their appreciation to the Indiana Donor Network for their care and concern.Memorials may be directed to St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 2700 W.
