Marty Lambert PeckLancaster: Martha "Marty" Lambert Peck, of Lancaster passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 9th. Marty Isabel Moore was born on October 12, 1931 in Crooksville, OH. She is survived by husband Bryce "Bud" Peck, daughters Mallory (Don) Hite, Connie (Jon Leeke) Lambert and Teri (Bill) Grine; step-daughters Jennifer (Richard Corney) Hyme, Mary (Bill) Shonk, and Celeste (Keith Thorne) Peck and step-son Bryce (Christine) Peck. Marty was also blessed to have 51 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews all of whom loved her dearly. Marty was preceded in death by parents Phillip and Eva May Moore, first husband Don Lambert, as well as brothers Marvin Moore and Rodney Moore. Marty was a homemaker, bookkeeper for local businesses and a medical records clerk during her time in Cocoa Beach Florida. She was also an active church member at Lancaster United Brethren Church with many devoted friends who engaged in mission work with her. She will be greatly missed.The family would like to thank everyone who reached out in Marty's final days and to also thank the caregivers of Fair Hope Hospice. Arrangements and flowers are being handled by Haldeman-Fett and Dyer Funeral Home of Lancaster. A public memorial service organized by Lancaster United Brethren Church will be held at the church on Sunday August 13th. Family will receive guests at the church at 1:00PM with the memorial service at 2:00PM. A private family burial will be conducted at a later time. Memorial donations may be made in Marty's name to Charity Newsies of Lancaster, OH or the Lancaster United Brethren Church.
