MARTIN D. CHRISTENSENJuly 25, 1953 toDecember 24, 2016Marty Christensen passed away on Dec 24, 2016. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather & uncle. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Teresa, & children Danae Beck, Mac & Nick Christensen, 5 grandkids, Grace, Gianna, Gavin, River and Makenna & parents Harold & Margie, siblings Mike, Kevin, Paul, John & Karen. He was born on July 25, 1953 in Los Angeles. Attended St. Genevieve's school through 12th grade, Pierce college & Veterans Administration school for Radiology Technology. Graduated in 1975 and married his wife Teresa in 1976. He loved his job in cardiology at St. Mary's Hospital and his extended work family there. His true love in life was his family. Travelling, playing cards & games, camping, fishing barbequing and just being a dad & grandpa, was what he did best. He loved his music and cigars with a glass of scotch. He was always the life of the party and the party put the life in him. We will grieve for him till our days are over as his absence on earth is an unbearable void. Funeral services will be held at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 100 Bishop Manogue Dr. Reno, NV 89511 on Jan 3, 2017 at 11:00am with memorial gathering and graveside services to follow.
