Martin Dean Hawkins was a loved father , uncle , friend and husband . Martin grew up in Cleveland Ohio . At the age of 17 Martin began working at a steel factory in the heart of down town Cleveland . Martin met his wife Cathy at the age of 18 and married her at 20. Together the couple has 5. Children 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren . Martin retired from the steel factory at age 54 . He and Cathy then moved to Lexington Kentucky to be closer to some of their children who helped care for him . Martin loved Kentucky . He would fish all day then watch the sunset . Martin was pretty ill but still managing with heart disease, high blood pressure and gout . On April 28th Martin   Tested positive for Covid 19 which made him very ill and sometimes unresponsive. Martins beautiful journey on life ended June 25 2020 at 4:35 am while Martin rested . His beautiful soul will forever be missed .
