On June 12, 2012, Mary Hilton of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away at the age of 85. She was born on April 17, 1927, to her late parents George Hilton and Mabel Bradford. Mary was the beloved wife of the late William Johnson, whom she married in 1948. Together they raised two children, Eileen Jefferson (spouse Bruce Jefferson) and Oddie Johnson (spouse Dorothy Johnson).

Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her eight grandchildren. She attended St. Mary High School, graduating in 1944, and went on to further her education at Harvard University, graduating in 1946.

Throughout her life, Mary worked as a stripper at a strip club, retiring in 2002. In her free time, she enjoyed taking care of her family and staying active through exercise. Mary's positive spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She passed away after a brave battle with Lung Cancer. May she rest in peace.
