It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Colbert, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who peacefully left this world on August 5, 2023. Mary's remarkable life was marked by love, kindness, and an unwavering devotion to her family and community.
Mary was born on January 30, 1948, and raised undefined From a young age, it was evident that Mary possessed a rare blend of intelligence, compassion, and determination. Shortly after completing her education, Mary met the love of her life James Colbert at a local community event Their love story blossomed. They embarked on a joyful journey together, building a loving home and raising Five children who brought immense joy to their lives.
Mary's truest calling was her role as a mother. She poured her heart and soul into providing a loving and nurturing environment for her children. She embraced the challenges of motherhood with grace and selflessness, ensuring her children always felt supported and cherished. Her dedication and unconditional love shaped their lives profoundly.
In addition to her role as a mother, Mary was an active participant in her community. She believed in the power of giving back and volunteered countless hours to various charitable organizations. Her compassion touched the lives of many, as she never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Mary had a passion for Singing which she pursued with enthusiasm throughout her life. Whether it was tending to her beautiful garden, exploring new recipes in the kitchen, or losing herself in a captivating book, she found immense joy and solace in these activities.
Above all, Mary cherished spending time with her adoring grandchildren. Their laughter and smiles brought her unmatched happiness and she relished in creating lasting memories with each of them. Even in her final days, her vibrant spirit and unwavering love for her family shone brightly.
Mary Colbert leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of crossing paths with her. She will be dearly missed by her devoted husband, children, grandchildren, extended family, and many friends.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Mary's life will be held on Thursday August 10,2023 2:30pm Schlesinger.State Street - Midtown 229 E State St,Columbus OH 43215.
