MARY ADALYN CAMPBELL EASONNovember 26, 1926 - November 12, 2016Dallas - MARY ADALYN CAMPBELL EASON, 89, died Saturday, November 12, 2016. She was born on November 26, 1926 in Los Angeles, California the daughter of William Campbell and Fay Raulston Campbell. She attended school in Los Angeles, graduating from Los Angeles High School in 1944 and entered UCLA at that time. After college she worked for Union Bank & Trust Co. and then May Company department store, both in downtown LA, then moved to the new May Co. store in Leimert Park area when it opened to head the book department there until 1950. She married Tom Eason in 1949 and gave birth to her only daughter, Deborah Eason Burnham in 1950. At the beginning of 1943, she was diagnosed with Tuberculosis and hospitalized most of the next four years until she was healed in 1957, when she moved to Torrance, CA. There she began her ministry working for Child Evangelism Fellowship which became her life's passion, teaching children the Gospel, and then moving to Pasadena, CA where she trained teachers as well. She retired in 2005 and moved to the Dallas, OR area to be near her daughter and grandchildren.She is survived by her daughter Debby (Dick) Burnham and 3 grandchildren: Andy (Leighann), David (Anna), and Kelly Burnham, and 3 great-grandchildren, Hallie and Joey Burnham and Sophia Burnham. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and only brother Bill Campbell.Her memorial service will be at the Central Baptist Church in Monmouth, November 26th at 11am. The Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center is caring for the family.
