Mary Ann BushongMary Ann (Muller) Bushong, of Lafayette went to be with the Lord after two-year battle with cancer, on Sunday, December 4, at the age of 69. Mary Ann devoted her life to her family and Christ, loving both unconditionally. Always an active member of her church and community, she took every opportunity to sing, write and play music and worship the Lord.Mary Ann was born on January 6, 1947, in Fowler to the late Wilber A. and Alma G. Hess. She grew up on the family farm and moved to Lafayette to work after graduating from Fowler High School, and soon married R. Mike Muller of 22 years. She loved to be home with their four children, caring for the home, preparing meals, and being creative with sewing, needlework, and wood crafts.Mary Ann enjoyed staying active with water aerobics, shopping, and visiting friends. She continued to serve her community by volunteering at local schools and Trinity Mission.In 2003, Mary Ann married Larry M Bushong. They enjoyed life together in their Lafayette home watching movies, going for walks and day trips. She found peace, strength, and compassion at Crestview Church and became an active member.Survived by her husband Larry M Bushong of 13 years. Also survived by her four children: Troy M Muller (wife, Shelli, children Ty and Claire) of West Lafayette, Rodney A Muller (wife, Sara) of Denver, CO, Bethany A Tyrrell (husband, Aaron and daughter Acelinn) of West Lafayette and Janelle P Voyakin (husband, Sergei and children Mila and Eva) of Minneapolis, MN.[VJ(F1] Mary Ann is lovingly remembered by her six sisters Alice (Jerry) Budreau, Geneva Wetli, Janet (Vernon) Hardebeck, Chris (Ed) Cormany, Pat (Mark) Foster, Theresia (Fred) Moser and her brother Tim (Chris) Hess and their children. Preceded in death by brother-in-law Ray Wetli.Visitation 4 - 7 pm Wednesday, December 7, at Crestview Church, 1400 Ortman Lane, Lafayette, IN 47909. Funeral Service 1 pm on Thursday, Crestview Church. Officiating Pastor Thom Redmond. Interment Meadow View Cemetery, Lafayette.
