Mary Ann White-Davis was born Mary Ann Hale to Emma Lisa Hale and Willie Eugene Hale in 1952 in Chicago, Illinois. She was 1 of 9 Children, the second oldest girl. Mary has always has a very driven spirit getting her first job at just 9 years old she worked the entire summer and saved all of her checks to buy herself something nice. By the time she Finished the 8th grade her family had relocated to Indiana where she attended Lasalle high school. Shortly after high school she met her first husband Michael White and they had 3 Beautiful girls together. Tonya, Nikki, and Stacey. While the girls were still very young they relocated to Seattle Washington and divorced a short while after. That is when she relocated to Bremerton, where she worked as a waitress at the black angus for a number of years before meeting Alvis Davis and together they had Jason and then married after and created a beautiful union that lasted 29 years. A beloved wife and adored mother.

Mary was always crafty, creative, and had a great sense of style. She loved to Sew clothes, write poems and decorate things. she loved redecorating her home. she would change her drapes with the seasons,and she took pride in keeping her home clean and presentable at all times. Her passion for cooking superceded everything and she opened marys marvelous catering while simuntanously working on the bremerton ferry for 15 years. Her sweet potato pie recipe will be passed down for generations to come

Mary loved to garden, her flowers were like her children and she would make her famous greens from her green tree in her backyard. Her yard was her sanctuary and she treated it as such, beautiful flowers everywhere and everything from strawberries to lettuce. Working in her garden brought her immense happiness. and she took great pride in her yard

Mary was fun, witty, and bold. Her personality was very corky she could put a smile on anyones face. No matter what she always put on a brave face and took comfort in bringing laughter and cheer to others. Even in sickness she remained brave and funny. most importantly she was a fighter. and she fought a good fight.

in total mary had 4 children Tonya,Nichole,Stacey, and Jason. 11 Grandchildren Audriauna, Dontese, Nyle, Ishmael, Jason jr., Amirah, Skyy, Morocco, Sade, Javion,and Josiah. and 3 great grandchildren Winter, Zhuri, and Adrienne.

Mary was a great wife, a loving mother, a caring friend, a sister, someone you could count on her heart was so big and she would help anyone she could. She will be greatly missed and her legacy shall live on through her children, her grandchildren, and everyone whose heart she touched along the way
