Mary Ann Z. SchurmannFort Pierce, FLMary Ann Schurmann, age 83, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. She was born on December 10, 1932 to the late E.L. "Red" and Ruby Lee Zipperer. Mary was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida. She was a member of the Fort Pierce Garden Club and Business Professional Women's Organization. Mary was an expert at crocheting and sewing. She retired from Bell South after over thirty years. Mary is survived by her daughter, Kay Sams (Roland) of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Wayne Schurmann (Martha) of Port Saint Lucie, FL; grandchildren, Deanna Wesley, Trevor and Tyler Sams (Vanessa), Sean Schurmann, Greg, Bobby and Renee Dobkins; great grandchildren, Averi, Madison, Lillie, Lacie, Emma, Spencer, and Dalton. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, LeRoy and son Richard LeRoy Schurmann. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016, from 5:00-7:00pm in Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce Chapel. A service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 1:00pm in Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce Chapel. A burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park in Fort Pierce, Florida.
