Mary Anne Jennings, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandma, And Great Grandma passed away on August 16, 2023, leaving behind a trail of laughter and joy. She was born on April 18, 1943, in Thomasville, North Carolina, to Carl and Mary. Mary Anne found her soulmate in Rodger and they tied the knot in '65, celebrating a beautiful 58 years of marriage.

Mary's life was a tapestry of love and family. She dedicated her heart and soul to raising her four children, Sharon, Donna, Suzie, and Danny. Each child brought a unique joy to her life that she cherished endlessly. Mary found immense happiness in witnessing her children blossom into responsible and loving adults, building their own families. She Was Preceded in death by her loving husband Rodger, her daughter Sharon, her son Danny and her Great grandson Kayden Hodge.

In their adult years, Mary Anne’s children were blessed with wonderful partners, namely Dean, Mark, Drew, and Shelia . These spouses embraced the Jennings family with open arms, offering their love and support in abundance.

Mary Anne was a proud grandma to six grandchildren Elizabeth McLaurin, Patricia Harris, Harley Harris, Carly Hubbard, Daniel Jennings And Josh Jennings And And Six Great Grandchildren Michael Hodge Jr. Jayden Hodge, Kayden Hodge, Kaylessi Harris, Kaydon Harris, Mason Jennings who affectionately remember her hugs, smiles, and contagious laughter. She was their biggest cheerleader and always made them feel special and valued. The precious bond she shared with each grandchild will forever be etched in their hearts.

Completing her education at Thomasville High School, Mary Anne graduated in 1960. She always cherished the memories of her school days, where she built lifelong friendships and nurtured her love for learning.

Mary Anne’s infectious laughter and positive spirit could light up any room. Her quick wit and playful teasing brought joy to countless gatherings with cherished friends and family. She will be remembered for her love of dancing, baking delicious pies, and hosting unforgettable game nights.

On August 16, 2023, Mary Anne’s earthly journey came to an end due to a stroke. Though her absence leaves a void in our hearts, we take solace in knowing that her beautiful smile and loving spirit live on in each cherished memory we hold dear.
